Opening a trip in the app
Your travel designer sends you a trip code or a link. Open GoGaijin, type the code and tap Open trip. A link opens the trip in the app directly. You can keep several trips and switch between them from Trips.
Changes to your trip
Times, stops and bookings are set by your travel designer. Ask them in Messages, or use the phone, email or website under Info. Your copy updates the next time you open the app with a connection.
Booking reminders
Popular places in Japan open bookings on fixed dates, in Japan time. In Bookings, tap Remind me and allow notifications. GoGaijin reminds you the day before each window opens, and again when it opens.
Using it offline
Once a trip is open, its days, photos and documents stay on your phone, so you can read them without a connection.
Removing a trip
In Trips, swipe left on a trip and tap Delete. This removes it from your phone only. Your travel designer keeps their copy.
Agencies
Agents build and share trips at gogaijin.ai. To delete an agent account and its data, open Settings and use Delete account, or write to us.
